Its main task is to completely block the flow of the working medium to ensure tightness, safe operation, and the possibility of carrying out routine or emergency work.
Company UKSPAR offers certified fittings for household (DN 15 –DN 50) and industrial (DN 15 – DN 1200) networks that meet the strictest industry standards.

    Classification and technical specifications

For controlling natural gas flows (operating pressure up to 1.2 MPa in distribution networks) or coolant (temperature up to 150–160 °C, pressure 1.6–2.5 MPa) the following types of mechanisms are used:

    • Ball valves: provide quick overlapping and high tightness.
    • Latches: optimal for main pipelines with minimal hydraulic resistance.
    • Valves: used for precise control and reliable cut-off.
    • Butterfly type disc valves: an effective solution for smooth regulation of medium flows.

Automation: For remote control, the valve is equipped with pneumatic actuators (single-sided/double-sided action, marking 1A/2A) or explosion-proof electric drives with a protection class of at least IP65 and labeling Ex.

    Specification by purpose

    1. Gas pipeline fittings

Gas environment requires the maximum tightness class and the use of special seals (PTFE, NBR, VITON).

    • High pressure (PN 16–40): steel flanged cranes (type K110) are used.
    • Medium and low pressure (up to 0.6 MPa): brass products (type Fig.40; 42; 50; 52) or stainless steel (type Fig.K120; K320; K350).
    • Intra-house networks (up to 0.005 MPa): brass coupling taps DN 15–DN50 (type Fig.40;42;50;52).
    1. Fittings for heating systems

Key requirements are heat resistance and resistance to water hammer.

    • Functionality: shutdown of boilers/risers, prevention of backflow, removal of air (automatic air vents to 10 bar) and thermoregulation.
    • Materials: brass (up to 160 °C, PN 25) for the private sector or stainless steel for centralized networks with a resource of more than 25 years.

Safety requirements and labeling according to standards

According to the standards, shut-off valves must meet the following criteria:

    • Tightness class "A"« (no visible leaks).
    • Cyclic resource: no less than 2500 cycles «"open-closed".
    • Clear labeling: mandatory indication DN (nominal diameter), PN (nominal pressure), steel grade and temperature range.

Importantly: Gas pipeline fittings are additionally identified by yellow color (control elements) and corresponding warning labels. Conformity control is carried out by VTK specialists on the basis of product passports and test reports.

    Selection and ordering criteria

When choosing equipment on the site WWW.UKSPAR.UA We recommend taking into account:

    1. Environment type: natural gas, steam or prepared water.
    2. Body material: brass, carbon steel or corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
    3. Connection type: threaded (coupling), flanged or welded.
    4. Drive type: hand lever, gearbox, electric or pneumatic actuator.

UKSPAR guarantees high quality and durability of equipment for housing and communal services, industry and private construction.
