The valve belongs to the list of universal components, therefore it is used in the following working substances:
- water (hot and cold);
- steam;
- air;
- gas;
- petroleum products;
- weakly aggressive environment.
It all depends on what material was used in the manufacturing process of the valve - cast iron or stainless steel. As a result, the negative corrosion effect is eliminated, which has a positive effect on the service life of this shut-off valve.
