    Best prices on threaded ball valves from UKSPAR

    Threaded ball valves (they are coupling valves) are designed to control the movement of the working flow in the pipe. With their help, it is easy to open or close the water (or other environment) with one turn of the handle (usually in the form of a lever or "butterfly"). In addition to the control element, the design includes a spherical locking element with a through hole. It is he who raises or lowers, allowing or blocking the work flow, respectively.

    What is special about ball valves

    The peculiarity of threaded products is the type of installation. The armature is fixed on the pipeline thanks to a cylindrical coupling with a thread cut from the sides. The carving itself is internal, external or combined. Threaded ball valves range in size from 3/8" to 4" with working pressures up to 140 bar and maximum flow temperatures of 180-200 degrees Celsius.
    Coupling ball valves are usually mounted on small pipelines with a diameter of up to 15 mm, so they are more often used in the household and residential and communal sphere. They are placed on the leads to plumbing and household appliances, gas pipes in the kitchen, office equipment, water pipes in private houses, etc. The fittings have the following advantages:

    • low price;
    • service life up to 50 years;
    • small weight and size;
    • reliable and easy-to-maintain design;
    • variability of places of operation;
    • quick action;
    • high throughput;
    • does not require maintenance;
    • does not allow leakage;
    • easy to install and remove.

    What are threaded ball valves

    Threaded taps can be classified as follows:

    • construction type;
    • body material;
    • working environment.

    Construction type

    The armature can be monobloc — that is, the body and coupling are a single unit, or consist of several parts. There are two-fold (rarely) and three-fold coupling faucets, as well as three-part options with an additional platform. Monoblock options are more airtight, but components are easier to install and cheaper.
    Also, threaded ball valves can be angular, through or three-way. Corner products are relevant for hard-to-reach places on the highway, pass-through products are considered universal, and three-way products are necessary for branching the system.

    Body material

    Threaded taps are made of the following materials:

    1. Brass. Inexpensive and light, not suitable for pipes with high temperature conditions.
    2. Steel. A versatile option with an optimal price-quality ratio.
    3. Stainless Steel. The strongest, most reliable, most durable and most expensive products, which are not afraid even of contact with chemicals and alkalis.

    Working environment

    Coupling ball valves can work with the following environments:

    • cold and hot water;
    • air;
    • gas;
    • non-aggressive environments;
    • steam;
    • oil and oil products;
    • cold and hot steam;
    • nutritional supplements;
    • mildly aggressive environments.

    A large selection of clutch taps at favorable prices is presented in the UKSPAR range. The Ukrainian brand sells fittings of its own production, for which there are certificates of conformity and an accompanying guarantee.
