The principle of operation of a butterfly valve

Workflow:

1. The operator turns the handle or activates the electric or pneumatic actuator, depending on the technical solution.
2. The disc blocks or opens the flow in the pipeline by 90°.

Due to the minimal number of moving parts, such a mechanism is reliable, wear-resistant and does not require complex maintenance.

Types of disc valve connections

There are also versions with a worm gear for easier control of large diameters or in places with difficult access.
